Today I figured out a trick! When I went into Katelyn's room to wake her up I told her that if she got up and ready we would go get donuts before I took her to school. She got up and got ready farely quickly for her. I was surprised at that. When we we sitting in line at the Royal Donut Company she kept telling the guy in front of us to move it. She wanted those donuts. So anyway, the amazing part is that when we got to her new school, I took her in, sat her down at the table, told her bye, and I left. There was no crying! I was amazed! Of course I know that I can't buy her donuts everyday for the rest of her life but at least one day of no crying her first week at a new school is wonderful!
We found out last night that her old therapists are welcome at her daycare. This means she will have familiar faces everyday which is also wonderful! I have called their new therapy clinic and she should be starting fairly quickly. We are very excited about this!!! We are really looking forward to them being able to train the teachers at the new daycare as well helping Katelyn one on one. Amy still has contact with Katelyn's friend, Bryce, so hopefully they can play with each other again outside of Meyer.
Looking forward to the promises the day holds....
