I'm sorry it has been so long since I posted. Katelyn and I were sick for an entire week. We thought that Katelyn had bronchitis but apparently she has whooping cough. We thought that this disease was pretty much extinct but it turns out that you aren't fully immunized until you have had your four year old shots which she won't get until the end of this year. We were not aware that she had whooping cough until yesterday. She has been coughing so much at night that I haven't been sleeping and then all day long she will clear her throat constantly. It gets on my nerves since I am so tired. So I decided to take her in and after a strep test and a chest x-ray they finally tell me that she has whooping cough. They said I could continue to take her to school as long as she isn't throwing up or running a fever so to school she went today. I finally got a full nights rest last night thanks to the medication the doctor gave her. I was so appreciative! This weekend since we didn't know she was that sick we went and ate dinner at Dale and Cathy's house. The family that moved into Dale's old house have a two girls age two and four. We took some toys to share with them and the three girls had so much fun!
I have to go to the preschool for a staff meeting (no I'm not a staff member but they want the board members there tonight as well) so I will write more later...
